O Allah, You are my Lord; none is worthy of worship but You. You created me and I am Your servant. I keep Your covenant as much as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil I have done. I acknowledge Your favour and my sin, so forgive me, for none forgives sins except You.
Regularly reciting it nurtures sincere tawbah and a truthful view of oneself as a servant dependent on Allah’s mercy. The hadith mentions a special hope for Paradise for those who die after sincerely reciting it morning or night.
Forgive Me, for I Have Wronged Myself
Allahumma inni zhalamtu nafsi zulman kathiran, wa la yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa ant, faghfir li maghfiratan min ‘indik, warhamni innaka antal-Ghafurur-Rahim

Our Lord, admit them to the eternal gardens of Paradise which You have promised them, along with whoever was righteous from their fathers, their spouses and their children. Indeed, You, and only You, are the All-Mighty and All-Wise. Protect them from all evil deeds. You will have bestowed Your mercy on those You protect from the evil deeds on that Day: that is the greatest achievement indeed.

Make disbelief, sins and disobedience hateful to us, and make us of the rightly guided ones. O Allah, fight the disbelievers who reject Your Messengers and avert from Your path. Inflict upon them Your punishment and vengeance. O Allah, fight the disbelievers who were given the Book, O the True God.

O Allah, I beg You to enable me to do good deeds, abstain from evil acts, and love the poor; and that You forgive me and have mercy upon me. O Allah, let us enjoy our hearing and sight and strength as long as You allow us to live, and make it an inheritance for us. Let our retaliation be upon those who have wronged us, and help us against those who harbour enmity towards us. Let not our afflictions be in our religion. Do not make the world our biggest concern or the full extent of our knowledge, and do not give power over us to anyone who will not have mercy on us.
