Quran 7:151

رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِأَخِي وَأَدْخِلْنَا فِي رَحْمَتِكَ وَأَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ

Transliteration

Rabbighfir lī wa li-akhī wa adkhilnā fī raḥmatika wa anta arḥamur-rāḥimīn.

Translation

My Lord, forgive me and my brother and admit us into Your mercy, for You are the most merciful of the merciful.

Meaning and benefit

A dua for forgiveness, mercy, family bonds, and asking Allah to include loved ones in His mercy.

Background

Prophet Musa عليه السلام made this dua after returning to his people and finding that they had fallen into grave error. He asked forgiveness and mercy for himself and his brother Harun عليه السلام.

Recite when asking allah to forgive you and your family · Especially siblings or close loved ones.
