The Month of Mercy, Forgiveness, and Freedom from Fire

Ramadan is not just about abstaining from food and drink; it is a spiritual reset, a time to purify the heart and reconnect with the Creator.
Revelation
“The month of Ramadan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion.” (2:185)
Divine Decree
Fasting is prescribed so that you may attain Taqwa (God-consciousness). It creates a shield against sins and disciplines the soul.
