Abū Dāwūd and Tirmidhī both narrate this dua with similar wording, and al‑Albānī graded it ḥasan; it is a well‑known prophetic formula of gratitude after eating. Caution: Do not promise forgiveness of “all past and future sins” without explaining that scholars understand such narrations in a way that does not contradict other texts about repentance and major sins.
