Background & benefit

Background

As narrated from Anas, when a person leaves home and says this dhikr, angels respond with protection and guidance, and Shayṭān is repelled. It shows that even everyday acts like stepping outside the door can become moments of worship and protection when accompanied by trust in Allah and remembrance of His name.

Benefit

Reciting it brings the heart to rely on Allah, not one’s own planning, and reminds a person they are always under His care in public spaces

When to recite

Recite when leaving the house.

Virtue note

The narration mentions guidance, sufficiency, and protection connected to this remembrance. Keep the wording tied to leaving home.
