Source & authenticity
Source: Hadith/Dhikr
Reference: Jāmiʿ al-Tirmidhī 3431
Authenticity: Weak report
Tirmidhī reports this narration and notes weakness in the chain; later grading also treats the report as weak. The general meaning of thanking Allah for well-being is sound, but this specific wording should be used with caution. If someone recites it, it should be said quietly to oneself and never in a way that embarrasses, hurts, or humiliates someone facing illness, disability, poverty, or another trial.
