Surah Al-Asr
Surah Al-Asr (The Declining Day) is Surah 103 of the Holy Quran, a Meccan Surah with 3 verses, available here in English.
Verse 103:1
وَالْعَصْرِ ۟ۙ
WalʻAṣr,
By the ˹passage of˺ time!
Verse 103:2
اِنَّ الْاِنْسَانَ لَفِیْ خُسْرٍ ۟ۙ
ʹInnal ʹIñsaana lafee khusr,
Surely humanity is in ˹grave˺ loss,
Verse 103:3
اِلَّا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ ۙ۬ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ ۟۠
ʹIllal laẓeena ʹaamanoo wa-ʻamiluṣ ṣaaliḥaati wa-tawaaṣaw bil-Ḥaq̣q̣i wa-tawaaṣaw biṣ-Ṣabr.
except those who have faith, do good, and urge each other to the truth, and urge each other to perseverance.
