Surah Al-Falaq
Surah Al-Falaq (The Daybreak) is Surah 113 of the Holy Quran, a Meccan Surah with 5 verses, available here in English.
Verse 113:1
قُلْ اَعُوْذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ ۟ۙ
Q̣ul ʹaʻooẓu bi-Rabbil Falaq̣,
Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “I seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak
Verse 113:2
مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ ۟ۙ
Miñ sharri maa- khalaq̣:
from the evil of whatever He has created,
Verse 113:3
وَمِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ اِذَا وَقَبَ ۟ۙ
Wa-miñ sharri g̣aasiq̣in ʹiẓaa waq̣ab,
and from the evil of the night when it grows dark,
Verse 113:4
وَمِنْ شَرِّ النَّفّٰثٰتِ فِی الْعُقَدِ ۟ۙ
Wa-miñ sharrin Naffaas̤aati fil ʻuq̣ad,
and from the evil of those ˹witches casting spells by˺ blowing onto knots,
Verse 113:5
وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ اِذَا حَسَدَ ۟۠
Wa-miñ sharri ḥaasidin ʹiẓaa ḥasad.
and from the evil of an envier when they envy.”
