Distress Prelude Before Making Dua
When Annoyed or Distressed
Transliteration
Lā ilāha illallāhu al-Ḥalīmu al-ʿAẓīm. Lā ilāha illallāhu Rabbul-ʿArshi al-Karīm. Lā ilāha illallāhu Rabbul-ʿArshi al-ʿAẓīm. Lā ilāha illallāhu Rabbus-samāwāti wa Rabbul-arḍi wa Rabbul-ʿArshi al-Karīm. Thumma yadʿū.
Translation
There is no god worthy of worship except Allah, the Forbearing, the Magnificent. There is no god worthy of worship except Allah, Lord of the Noble Throne. There is no god worthy of worship except Allah, Lord of the Magnificent Throne. There is no god worthy of worship except Allah, Lord of the heavens, Lord of the earth and Lord of the Noble Throne. Then one makes dua.

This report teaches the believer to begin difficult moments by declaring tawhid and praising Allah before asking for what is needed. It turns annoyance and disturbance into remembrance and supplication.
For calming the heart, praising Allah, and preparing to make personal dua during annoyance, distress or emotional disturbance.
Recite when bothered or distressed, then make your own dua for what you need.
