When reporting a technical problem, it helps if you include your device model, operating system version, and a short description of what happened.
Report a Quran, Dua, Adhkar or Content Issue
We take the accuracy of Islamic content seriously.
If you notice a possible issue with Quran text, translation, transliteration, a dua, adhkar, reference, attribution, or other religious content, please let us know.
Email salam@mushna.com with:
- The section or screen where you found the issue
- The relevant Surah, ayah, dua, or adhkar if applicable
- A description of the possible error
- A screenshot, if helpful
We will review reported issues carefully and correct verified errors where necessary.
Quran Audio Troubleshooting
If Quran audio is not playing correctly:
- Check that your device has an active internet connection.
- Make sure your device volume is turned up.
- Check whether audio is being sent to Bluetooth headphones or another connected device.
- Close and reopen Mushna if playback becomes unresponsive.
- Make sure you are using the latest available version of the app.
Mushna supports background Quran playback and system media controls on supported devices.

Qibla Troubleshooting
Mushna uses your device location and compass sensors to help calculate the Qibla direction.
For the best result:
- Allow Mushna to access your location when requested.
- Make sure Location Services are enabled on your device.
- Move away from magnets, speakers, metal objects, or electronic equipment that may interfere with the compass.
- If the direction appears unusual, move your device in a figure-eight motion to help recalibrate its compass.
Qibla readings may vary slightly depending on your device sensors and surroundings.
Prayer Times and Ramadan Information
Prayer times and Ramadan timings can vary depending on location, calculation method, local convention, and religious authority.
Mushna provides these tools for convenience. For important religious observance, you may wish to confirm timings with your local mosque or trusted local authority.
Zakat Tools
The Nisab Checker and Zakat Calculator are intended to help you organise and estimate information.
They are not a substitute for personalised religious, financial, legal, or tax advice. If your circumstances are complex, consider consulting a qualified scholar or adviser.
