O Allah, set right my religion, which safeguards my affairs; set right my worldly life, where my livelihood is; set right my Hereafter, where I will return; make life an increase in every good, and death a relief from every evil.

Background & benefit
Abu Hurayrah reports that the Prophet ﷺ used to say this dua, asking Allah to rectify his religion, worldly life, and hereafter, and to make life an increase in good and death a relief from evil. The supplication balances concern for dīn, duniā, and ākhirah, recognizing that all three need Allah’s care, and that even life and death are meaningful only as they relate to obedience and safety from evil.
It offers a comprehensive way to ask Allah to “fix” what is broken, aligning every stage of existence with good, rather than focusing narrowly on one aspect like wealth or health.

Reported in Sahih Muslim (2720). This is a comprehensive prophetic supplication asking Allah to rectify a believer’s religion, worldly life, Hereafter, life, and death. It should be understood as a dua to be repeated with patience and trust, not as a claim that every difficulty will disappear instantly.
