Allahumma inni as’alukal-huda wat-tuqa wal-‘afafa wal-ghina
Translation
O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and sufficiency.

ʿAbdullāh b. Masʿūd narrates that the Prophet ﷺ frequently asked Allah for guidance, piety, chastity, and self‑sufficiency with this short supplication. The dua gathers four essentials of a healthy believer’s life: knowing the right path, fearing Allah, staying pure, and being content rather than greedy It is concise yet covers most of what people chase in more complicated ways.
Regular use can shape a person’s ambitions, turning their focus away from mere material gain towards inner guidance, God‑consciousness, moral restraint, and satisfaction with what Allah gives
