Transliteration
Allāhumma innaka ʿafuwwun tuḥibbu l-ʿafwa faʿfu ʿannī.
Translation
O Allah, You are Pardoning and You love to pardon, so pardon me.

Background & benefit
Aishah asked the Prophet ﷺ what to say if she recognized Laylatul Qadr, and he taught her to ask Allah for pardon. The most established wording is centred on Allah being al-Afuww, the One who pardons and loves to pardon.
A concise dua for Allah’s pardon, especially in the last ten nights of Ramadan and whenever seeking forgiveness.
Recite frequently during Laylatul Qadr, the last ten nights of Ramadan, and any time you ask Allah for pardon.
