Quran

رَّبِّ أَدْخِلْنِي مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ وَأَخْرِجْنِي مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍ وَاجْعَل لِّي مِن لَّدُنكَ سُلْطَانًا نَّصِيرًا

Transliteration

Rabbi adkhilnī mudkhala ṣidqin wa-akhrijnī mukhraja ṣidqin, wajʿal lī min ladunka sulṭānan naṣīrā.

Translation

My Lord, cause me to enter a sound entrance and to exit a sound exit, and grant me from Yourself a supporting authority.

Wa mā tawfīqī illā billāh. ʿAlayhi tawakkaltu wa ilayhi unīb.

And my success is not but through Allah. Upon Him I have relied, and to Him I return.

رَبَّنَا افْتَحْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ قَوْمِنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْفَاتِحِينَ

Rabbanā iftaḥ baynanā wa-bayna qawminā bil-ḥaqqi wa-anta khayru al-fātiḥīn.

Our Lord, decide between us and our people in truth, and You are the best of those who decide.

فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَنتَ وَلِيِّي فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ۖ تَوَفَّنِي مُسْلِمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ

Fāṭira as-samāwāti wal-arḍ, anta waliyyī fi ad-dunyā wal-ākhirah, tawaffanī musliman wa-alḥiqnī biṣ-ṣāliḥīn.

Creator of the heavens and the earth, You are my protector in this world and the Hereafter. Cause me to die as a Muslim and join me with the righteous.

Why this dua?

For a good ending, righteous company, and reliance on Allah in this world and the next.

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا

Rabbanā ātinā min ladunka raḥmah, wa-hayyiʾ lanā min amrinā rashadā.

Our Lord, grant us mercy from Yourself and prepare for us right guidance in our affair.

رَبِّ هَبْ لِي حُكْمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ ۝ وَاجْعَل لِّي لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ فِي الْآخِرِينَ ۝ وَاجْعَلْنِي مِن وَرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ النَّعِيمِ

Rabbi hab lī ḥukman wa alḥiqnī biṣ-ṣāliḥīn. Wajʿal lī lisāna ṣidqin fil-ākhirīn. Wajʿalnī min warathati jannatin-naʿīm.

My Lord, grant me wisdom and join me with the righteous. And grant me an honorable mention among later generations. And make me among the inheritors of the Garden of Delight.

A beautiful dua for wisdom, righteous companionship, a good legacy, and Jannah.
