Praise Allah and Ask Him for Rain

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ ، الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ ، مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّيْنِ ، لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ يَفْعَلُ مَا يُرِيْدُ ، اَللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ اللّٰهُ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ ، أَنْتَ الْغَنِيُّ وَنَحْنُ الْفُقَرَاءُ ، أَنْزِلْ عَلَيْنَا الْغَيْثَ وَاجْعَلْ مَا أَنْزَلْتَ لَنَا قُوَّةً وَبَلَاغًا إِلَى حِيْنٍ.
Transliteration
Alḥamdu-lillāhi Rabbi-l-ʿālamīn, ar-Raḥmāni-r-Raḥīm, Māliki yawmi-d-dīn, lā ilāha illā-llāhu yafʿalu mā yurīd. Allāhumma Anta-llāhu lā ilāha illā Anta, Anta-l-Ghaniyyu wa naḥnu-l-fuqarāʾ. Anzil ʿalaynā-l-ghaytha wa-jʿal mā anzalta lanā quwwatan wa balāghan ilā ḥīn.
Translation
All praise is for Allah, Lord of the worlds, the All-Merciful, the Very Merciful, Master of the Day of Judgment. There is no god but Allah; He does what He wills. O Allah, You are Allah; there is no god except You. You are free of all need and we are the needy. Send down the rain upon us and make what You send down a source of strength and provision for a time.
