When in the State of Iḥrām

اَللّٰهُمَّ حَجَّةٌ لَا رِيَاءَ فِيْهَا ، وَلَا سُمْعَةَ
Transliteration
Allāhumma ḥajjatun la riyā’a fiha, wa lā sum‘ata.
Translation
O Allah, a ḥajj in which there is no showing off nor reputation sought.
Virtue & source
Anas b. Mālik (raḍiy Allāhu ʿanhu) narrated: “The Prophet ﷺ performed ḥajj on an old saddle, wearing a cloak that was worth four dirhams or less. Then he said [the above]. (Ibn Mājah)
Talbiyah in Hajj & ʿUmrah

لَبَّيْكَ اَللّٰهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ ، لَبَّيْكَ لاَ شَرِيْكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْكَ ، إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ وَالنِّعْمَةَ لَكَ وَالْمُلْكَ ، لاَ شَرِيْكَ لَكَ
Transliteration
Labbayk Allāhumma labbayk, labbayka lā sharīka laka labbayk, inna-l-ḥamda, wa-n-niʿmata, laka wa-l-mulk, lā sharīka lak.
Translation
I am here at Your service, O Allah; I am here at Your service, I am here at Your service; You have no partner whatsoever; I am here at Your service. Truly all praise, favour and sovereignty is Yours; You have no partner whatsoever.

ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar (radiy Allāhū ‘anhumā) narrates that the talbiyah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was [the above]. (Bukhārī 1549)
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Jibrīl came to me and commanded me to order my Companions (radiy Allāhū ‘anhum) to raise their voices in uttering the talbiyah.” (Abū Dāwūd)
When Reaching al-Ḥajar al-Aswad (The Black Stone)

اَللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ
Transliteration
Allāhu Akbar.
Translation
Allah is the Greatest.
Virtue & source
Ibn ʿAbbās (radiy Allāhū ʿanhumā) narrates that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed ṭawāf (of the Kaʿbah) riding a camel (at that time the Prophet ﷺ had a foot injury). Whenever he came to the Corner (where the Black Stone is located), he would point towards it with a thing in his hand and would declare Allah’s greatness.(Bukhārī 1632)
Between al-Rukn al-Yamani (Yemeni Corner) & al-Hajar al-Aswad (Black Stone)

رَبَّنَآ اٰتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَّفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَّقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Transliteration
Rabbanā ātinā fi-d-dunyā ḥasanah wa fil-ākhirati ḥasanah wa qinā ʿadhāba-n-Nār.
Translation
Our Lord, grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the torment of the Fire.

ʿAbdullāh b. as-Sā’ib (radiy Allāhū ʿanhu) narrated: “I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say [the above] between the two corners (al-Rukn al-Yamānī and al-Ḥajar al-Aswad).” (Abū Dāwūd 1892)
At Maqām Ibrāhīm

وَاتَّخِذُوْا مِنْ مَّقَامِ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ مُصَلًّي
Transliteration
Wa-takidhū min maqāmi Ibrāhīma muṣallā.
Translation
Take the standing-place of Ibrāhīm as a site of prayer. (2:125)
Virtue & source
Jābir (raḍiy Allāhu ʿanhu) said: “…Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to the Maqām (standing-place) of Ibrāhīm and said [the above]. He prayed two rakʿahs, placing the Maqām between him and the Kaʿbah…(In the first rakʿah) he recited Sūrah al-Ikhlāṣ (and in the second rak’ah), he recited Sūrah al-Kāfirūn.” (Muslim)
When Approaching Ṣafā to begin Saʿy

إِنَّ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ مِنْ شَعَآئِرِ اللّٰهِ ، أَبْدَأُ بِمَا بَدَأَ اللّٰهُ بِهِ ،
Transliteration
Inna-ṣ-Ṣafā wa-l-Marwata min shaʿāiri-llah, abda’u bi-mā bad’allāhu bihi.
Translation
Indeed, Ṣafa and Marwah are among the symbols of Allah (2:158). I begin with what Allah began with.

Jābir (raḍiy Allāhu ʿanhu) said: “Then, when he ﷺ approached Ṣafā, he [said the above].” (Muslim)
Each Time on Safa & Marwah

لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ ، اَللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ ، لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ ، وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ ، لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ ، أَنْجَزَ وَعْدَهُ ، وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ ، وَهَزَمَ الْأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ
Transliteration
Lā ilāha illā-llāh, Allāhu Akbar, lā ilāha illā-llāhu waḥdahū lā sharīka lah, lahu-l-mulku wa lahu-l-ḥamdu yuḥyī wa yumīt, wa Huwa ʿalā kulli shay’in Qadīr, lā ilāha illā-llāh, anjaza waʿdah, wa naṣara ʿabdah, wa hazama-l-aḥzāba waḥdah.
Translation
There is no god worthy of worship except Allah. Allah is the Greatest. He is Alone and He has no partner whatsoever. To Him Alone belong all sovereignty and all praise. He is over all things All-Powerful. There is no god worthy of worship except Allah. He fulfilled His promise, granted victory to His servant, and He Alone defeated the coalition forces.

Jābir (raḍiy Allāhu ʿanhu) said: “The Messenger of Allah began with Ṣafā and climbed it until he could see the Kaʿbah. He then faced the qiblah, proclaimed the Oneness of Allah and glorified Him, and then said لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ ، وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ ، لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ ، أَنْجَزَ وَعْدَهُ ، وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ ، وَهَزَمَ الْأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ. He then made duʿā’ in between (the takbīr and the dhikr), and repeated this three times…
He then made duʿā’ between three recitals of (the above)… He then did on Marwah what he did on Ṣafā.”

Note: The above Dhikr should be recited x3. Duʿā’ should be made after each recital.
Between Ṣafā & Marwah

رَبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْأَعَزُّ الْأَكْرَمُ
Transliteration
Rabbi-ghfir wa-rḥam innaka Anta-l-Aʿazzul Akram.
Translation
My Lord, forgive and have mercy. Truly You are the Most Mighty, the Most Noble.
Virtue & source
ʿAbdullāh b. Masʿūd and ʿAbdullah b. ʿUmar (radiy Allāhū ʿanhum) would both say [the above] during saʿy. (Ṭabarānī in al-Duʿā’ 870)
On the Day of ʿArafah

لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ ، وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ
Transliteration
Lā ilāha illā-Allāh, waḥdahū lā sharīka lah, lahu-l-mulk, wa lahu-l-ḥamd, wa Huwa ʿalā kulli shay’in Qadīr.
Translation
There is no god worthy of worship but Allah. He is Alone and He has no partner whatsoever. To Him Alone belong all sovereignty and all praise. He is over all things All-Powerful.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The best duʿā’ is the duʿā’ of the day of ʿArafah. The best of what I and the Prophets before me have said is [the above].” (Tirmidhī 3585)
On Every Throw at the Jamarāt

اَللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ
Transliteration
Allāhu Akbar.
Translation
Allah is the Greatest.
Virtue & source
Al-Zuhrī (raḥimahullāh) narrated: “When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would pelt the jamarah (pillar) near the masjid of Mina, he would throw seven small pebbles and say takbīr with each pebble. Then he would go in front of it and stand facing the qiblah with his hands raised, and make duʿā’. He would stand for a long time.
Then he would come to the second jamarah (al-wusṭā) and stone it with seven small pebbles, saying takbīr with each pebble. He would move towards the left, near the valley. Then he would stand facing the qiblah with his hands raised,and make duʿā’.
Then he would come to the jamarah by ʿAqabah and throw seven small pebbles, saying takbīr with each pebble. He would then leave and not stay by it (to make duʿā’).
Al- Zuhrī (raḥimahullāh) said: “I heard Sālim b. ʿAbdullāh narrating like this on the authority of his father (i.e. ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar) from the Prophet ﷺ. And Ibn ʿUmar used to do this. (Bukhārī)
