Calculation breakdown
- Gold value = gold grams × gold price per gram. Silver value = silver grams × silver price per gram.
- Total assets = cash + bank balances + receivables + metal values + business inventory + investments + crypto + other zakatable assets.
- Net zakatable wealth = total assets − immediate deductible liabilities, with a minimum of zero.
- Gold Nisab = 87.48 × gold price per gram. Silver Nisab = 612.36 × silver price per gram.
- When net wealth meets or exceeds the selected threshold, estimated Zakat = net wealth × 2.5%.
Calculations retain full precision. Displayed currency amounts are rounded to zero decimal places.
Important calculation scope
- The calculator does not verify whether wealth has been held for one lunar year.
- Include gold, silver, and jewellery according to the guidance you follow.
- Deduct only eligible immediate liabilities due now, not every future long-term payment.
